There is nothing unusual about discovering a cat stuck up the tree however, as these photos prove, it is not just kitties who are prone to mishaps. A new online gallery has displayed the bizarre things people have discovered stuck in trees. While pets do feature, they tend be far less agile than your average house cat with dogs, cows and even horses finding themselves trapped between branches.
Humans are not immune to tree-related disasters with images capturing ill-fated humans wedged in uncomfortable positions. However, it isn’t just animals that fall victim to trees with astonishing photos seeing objects completely devoured by the plant. Several bicycles can be seen suspended in the trunk of a tree where they have been propped up against it only for the owner never to return and the plant simply to grow around it.
Elsewhere road signs, benches and even grave stones have been swallowed up by aging trees making for extraordinary photos.
