Federer’s “nations of the world” band joined Adele to wrap up James Corden’s show

Federer's kids' favorite band joined Adele to end James Corden's show

One ofRoger Federer’s children’s favorite bands, Blackpink, helped James Corden end his Carpool Karaoke series as he wrapped up his journey as the host of CBS’s Late Late Show. The girls from Blackpink joined Adele and Diddy to take the position of the third last Carpool Karaoke guest ever.

“James cruises through Los Angeles with BLACKPINK singing their hits and telling stories. James gets a krumping tutorial and the band talks about their experiences with the training system that led them to form BLACKPINK. We attempt to add to their impressive list of world records and everyone gets their Spice Girls name,” the Late Late Show described the Blackpink Carpool Karaoke video.

During the carpool, Corden and Blackpink sing the next songs:

  • “Pink Venom” – BLACKPINK
  • “DDU DU DDU DU” – BLACKPINK
  • “No Scrubs” – TLC
  • “How You Like That” – BLACKPINK
  • “Wannabe” – Spice Girls

Besides the songs above, Blackpink is also a gaming-friendly band, just like Imagine Dragons, who are in a tour and will be performing at some of the largest music festivals in the world this year, like the Untold Festival (in August 4th).

In 2022, as a result of a PUBG collaboration, Blackpink released a new song and music video called “Ready For Love”. Federer took a photo with the full Blackpink band in Paris at the start of 2023.

“My kids said this was a definite IG post,” Federer captioned the photo.

As we’ve said, Blackpink was not the last Carpool Karaoke guest. That role was taken by none other than Adele. “It’s the last week of The Late Late Show with James Corden and his dear friend @adele surprises him with one final Carpool Karaoke commute to work.

Adele takes the wheel and asks James about his memories hosting the show, Carpool Karaoke and the significance of it ending. And the two get emotional reflecting about their friendship and the times they’ve been there for each other,” the Late Late Show captioned the final Carpool Karaoke.
